Transmission Line Principal Engineer/Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee the design of transmission lines for wind, solar, and battery storage projects from start to finish.Early Stage Support: Work with project managers to define project requirements and scope.      Consulting Resources: Hire and manage engineering consultants for line design.Coordination: Work with stakeholders to secure routes, permits, and necessary data for transmission line projects.Deliverables Management: Ensure timely delivery of design documents and drawings.Stakeholder Communication: Represent the project in meetings, providing updates and managing risks.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural Engineering.Experience: Minimum of 6 years in high voltage transmission line projects.Skills: Strong knowledge of transmission design, excellent communication, project management skills, and technical competence.Travel: Required within North America.Preferred:Certifications: PMP or P.E. certification is a plus.Software Proficiency: Familiarity with PLSCADD, Microsoft products, Auto-CAD, Primavera, etc.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00
