Summary of Job Duties:As a Transplant Data Coordinator for Transplant Services, you’ll be at the heart of critical data management, ensuring seamless clinical data abstraction, design, capture, and reporting. You’ll be the vital link between medical, nursing, financial, and ancillary teams—keeping the flow of information smooth and efficient.
In this role, you’ll not only develop and maintain essential transplant statistical data but also play a key part in monitoring outcomes alongside the Quality Director. Your expertise will help uphold compliance with major regulatory bodies, including The Joint Commission, CMS, UNOS, and the ESRD Network, ensuring our transplant program meets the highest standards.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's in Nursing plus three (3) years of nursing experience
Valid Arkansas RN license
EPIC and Electronic health information systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors in Nursing plus one (1) year of experience
Transplant experience preferred
Experience in quality assurance and performance improvement activities preferred

Responsibilities:
Participates in planning and implementing systematic processes to improve the quality and safety of patient care, and operational effectiveness of the program
Oversee the maintenance of the OPTN data entry system for transplant centers
Reviews medical records, including reviews of documentation required for UNOS and CMS
Assists and contributes to the Transplant Institute leaders and staff to assure continuous survey readiness with policy and procedure development, review and revision, mock survey drills, and ongoing education
Performs other duties as assigned
