Transplant Financial Program Manager

Inova Schar Cancer is looking for a dedicated Transplant Financial Program Manager to join the Team. This role will be full-time day shift from Monday - Friday, hybrid position. 

The Transplant Financial Program Manager is an integral member of the stem cell transplant and immunotherapy team responsible for managing revenue cycle and financial performance. Performs daily charge review to ensure appropriate charge capture and posting for all phases of the transplant patient journey (pre-transplant, transplant and post-transplant). Actively manages strategic analysis and program financial reporting (eg. Medicare Cost Reporting).

Transplant Financial Program Manager Finance Job Responsibilities:

Manages transplant revenue cycle and Epic builds to support the program. Recommends necessary changes to drive improvement or maintain compliance with requirements.Builds and manages process to ensure program is compliant with Medicare Cost Reporting.Is a knowledge expert in transplant billing and advises on practices to ensure organization is receiving appropriate reimbursement for services provided.Functions as a liaison with accounts payable to ensure accurate and prompt receipt andprocessing of invoices.Provides financial training to team members during orientation and annual competencies, sharing useful resources and providing electronic access to supporting information.Supports front end performance to assure appropriate program billing practices for maximum reimbursement.Analyzes program cost data. Collaborates with clinicians and decision support team to improve financial decision-making.
