Transplant Infectious Diseases Fellowship (July 2024-July 2025)

The University of Minnesota is excited to offer a funded, one-year Transplant Infectious Diseases Fellowship (July 2024 to June 2025) combining both clinical practice and research.

Highlights of the program:

Comprehensive clinical exposure through inpatient rotations on solid organ transplant (SOT) and hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) ID service lines and a weekly outpatient continuity transplant ID clinic.

Individualized program structure tailored to align with the trainee's interests.

Option for elective rotations (up to 4 weeks) with other transplant service lines.

Option to participate in our Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) clinic for interested fellows.

Opportunities for translational and clinical research as well as quality improvement projects.

Supportive training environment with strong mentorship from the program director and faculty.

Application Requirements:

CV and a one-page personal statement

Two letters of recommendation

At least 2 years in an ACGME-accredited General ID Fellowship

Board Eligible or Certified in Infectious Diseases

Possession of, or ability to obtain, an MN Medical License
