The salary range for this position is $38.00 - $61.91 (Hourly Rate)
Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Performing more than 400 stem cell transplant and cell therapies per year, our teams of experts are here to help support patients and their caregivers during all stages of their treatment journey.
The Transplant Nurse Coordinator will be a member of our Stem Cell Transplantation and Cell Therapy team, specifically dedicated to building a new clinical program: hematopoietic transplant and cell therapy for patients with severe, non-malignant diseases. This clinical program expands access to care for patients afflicted with debilitating neurologic and autoimmune diseases, currently a community of people with limited treatment options. Patients will be primarily be treated under clinical trials, advancing science through data and research.
The Transplant Nurse Coordinator will work directly with the Principal Investigator and the inter-disciplinary to team to conduct clinical research and provide comprehensive care for patients caregivers through their transplant or cell therapy. This will include consenting and educating patients, coordinating evaluation testing and admission, executing clinical trial protocols, ensuring compliance with study requirements, monitoring for adverse events, and educating other care team members of protocol requirements and study-specific activities. The Transplant Nurse Coordinator will also play a role in clinical trial activation and maintenance, which may include feasibility assessment, review and maintenance of protocols and standard operating procedures, review of research-related deviations, compliance with regulatory requirements, and support of clinical research problems.

Responsible for planning, directing, providing and documenting appropriate care for patients in the designated care settingAssists in coordinating comprehensive care for patients, including assisting with the consent process, data collection and arranging any required follow-up visits, referrals, testing, treatment, and/or long-term follow-upWorks collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate on-going care, focused on cost-effective ways to maximize wellness and enhance patients’ livesDevelops, coordinates, and provides education for patients, family, caregivers, and staff based on personalized needs along with serving as a resource for ongoing educationServes as a communication link between the patient, family, caregivers, interdisciplinary team, and outside hospitals/agenciesContributes to department, hospital, or other professional committees and/or quality or process improvement initiatives.Ensures clinical practice and patient care is consistent with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsOther duties as assignedQualifications
Required:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of IllinoisCPR-Basic Life Support (BLS)Minimum 2-3 years of recent & related clinical experiencePreferred:
