Job Overview:
RWJBH is seeking a highly dedicated Transplant Quality Coordinator for our Organ Transplant Center at our New Brunswick campus.
This position is responsible for helping develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate continuous quality improvement and performance improvement activities and works collaboratively with program and hospital leadership to ensure regulatory compliance for the RWJUH transplant and VAD programs

BSNShould obtain or maintain CPHQ certification or equivalentPreffered:
Transplant/VAD and/or Quality experience preferredExceptional analytical skills requiredDemonstrated highly effective written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of advanced functionality in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word requiredDemonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple members of the health care and administrative leadership teamCertifications and Licenses Required:
BLS and ACLS CertificationActive New Jersey Registered Nurse LicenseScheduling Requirements:

Monitors clinical and process metrics including organizing, collecting, validating, compiling, analyzing, and reporting of resultsContinually assess and improve performance indicators by participating in performance improvement projectsFacilitates and monitors patient safety activitiesContributes to meeting departmental and organ program targets for quality and safety, on departmental dashboardCoordinates quality committee meetingsPrepares internal or external clinical data requestsReports variances to appropriate management and staffParticipates in the development, implementation, evaluation and revision of order sets, policies, and other documentation toensure practice is consistent with regulatory requirementsCollaborates with transplant & VAD & hospital leadership and staff to ensure ongoing compliance with the requirements,regulations and laws of local, state and federal regulatory agencies for transplant and VAD, including UNOS, TJC, and CMSFacilitates collection of all clinical documents and data necessary in preparation for onsite review or regulatory responsesubmission to any transplant regulatory agencyParticipates as a liaison during certification/review site visitsProvides quality/compliance education and facilitates continuous readiness to portend program accountability and responsibilityDemonstrates ability to work with all disciplines to achieve a common goalStays abreast of current transplant & VAD regulationsBenefits and Perks:
