About the Role: We are looking for a Transport Analyst who will business support to the GBS team in collecting, analyzing, and presenting logistical data concerning the transportation of liquid chocolate within the EMEA region. By interpreting the data, you will assist the team in making databased decisions to enhance service performance and cost efficiency within logistics for the region. Key Responsibilities Include: + Assisting in achieving business objectives within liquid transport. Collaborating with the regional transportation manager, this role ensures that local liquid transport teams comply with the EMEA liquid carrier program + Conducting data analysis on transport KPIs, transportation costs (tender compliance). Monitoring carrier performance at a regional level, managed through our “carrier performance segmentation process” utilizing a Power BI tool + Implementing, managing, and monitoring the “carrier audit plan”, participating in audits if necessary, alongside the transport manager, potentially QA manager, etc. Making recommendations based on data analysis and research + Preparing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports and presentations, both with respect to logistics operations and costs, and sharing them with local transport managers within the region + Actively participating in regional calls, meetings related to these topics + Conducting mini-tenders for small volumes for liquid road transport to control transportation costs. The role is responsible for minimizing the number of expensive spot prices to an absolute minimum + Prebilling via TMS: monitoring compliance with the local prebilling process and acting as SPOC in case of escalation from local to regional if necessary + Translating the results of liquid transport tenders and additional transportation costs into the format for Pricing department. The role's responsibility is to ensure all new and updated rates for liquid transport are communicated immediately to Pricing for SPS updates + Participating in projects within the regional logistics team. Billing for liquid chocolate: ensuring liquid deliveries are invoiced monthly before finance month-end close. This is done by regularly sending open-POD reports. The role is responsible for invoicing as many deliveries as possible by the end of the month.
