As the Transport Analyst, you will be critical in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and timely flow of materials from origins and suppliers into our North American distribution network while managing trade operations to ensure compliance with all international trade regulations.
Your role:
Tracking all inbound logistics activities, including supplier scheduling, origins interaction transportation, and warehouse coordination, to ensure on-time material delivery
Managing relationships with freight forwarders and carriers to ensure inbound logistics meets performance standards
Working closely with the BUs and suppliers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods while maintaining high-quality standards
Monitoring origins and suppliers’ performance, tracking shipments, and resolving issues related to delays, shortages, or quality defects
Analyzing and improving inbound logistics processes to minimize costs, improving efficiency, and reducing lead times
Monitoring KPIs for inbound logistics, focusing on on-time delivery, cost management, and process efficiency
Supporting the export activities to ensure compliance with all international trade regulations, including U.S. Customs, FDA, and other relevant authorities
Supporting customs clearance processes, ensuring all required documentation is prepared accurately and submitted on time
Working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other trade service providers to ensure smooth and compliant import/export operations
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within inbound and trade operations to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
Implementing process standardization, automation, and best practices to streamline inbound and logistics trade operations
Tracking proactively inbound shipments and logistics costs using data analytics tools and providing regular performance reports to senior management
You're the right fit if:
You have acquired 5 + years of leading experience in warehouse management, transport management, customer service management
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or other relevant discipline
You have a working knowledge of Logistics Optimization Techniques
You have performed Carrier Performance Analysis and Carrier Qualification & Selection
You have experience with Export Operations Management and Inbound Shipment Analysis
You are able to execute on Business Strategy and Supply Chain Alignment

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in TN is $77,000 to $132,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
