Job description :

We are a dynamic company located in Ville St-Laurent, looking for a Transportation and Logistics Coordinator.

Under the supervision of the Vice-President of Supply Chain, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

Identify transportation needs, negotiate bids and select appropriate carriers. Define new routes to meet business requirements, while optimizing costs and maintaining high quality service. Audit the freight payment process to ensure accuracy and efficient processing. Manage carrier performance to ensure delivery of products to quality standards. Develop and implement strategies to improve carrier performance and reduce associated costs. Analyze industry trends and propose changes in partner selection, if necessary. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Design and implement strategies to ensure on-time and complete order delivery (OTIF) as well as delivery quality (OS&D).

Skills and qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in operations and logistics management or equivalent. Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. Bilingualism is required (French/English). Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP. Strong analytical skills. Excellent negotiation skills. Apply
