Transport Driver (Oil Field)
Must be located in Grand Junction, CO     ROLE STATEMENT: The Transport Driver 1 will be a member of the Field Operations department responsible for safely transporting materials such as sand, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and hazardous materials to and from site. Reporting to the Field Manager, the Transport Driver 1 will focus on adhering to Calfrac Well Services operational, safety and environmental policies and procedures at all times.    SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION: 6/3 rotation – 10 hour work days $23-$28/hour pending experience   Provide effective communication with management in the District regarding operations and continuous improvement initiatives Able to participate in the development of policies and procedures to meet operational service line requirements Work with all business units to ensure a trouble free operation Manage employee and equipment assignments and schedules to meet customer requirements to achieve corporate mandate of “Service First”. Ensure adherence to operational policies, procedures to achieve safety objectives. Operating a sand truck, pneumatic air can and belly dump conveying belt trailers Spotting bulkers, hauling sand, Nitrogen and Carbon Dioxide Physical labor required on site when completing Fracturing and Coiled Tubing jobs Assist in completing all maintenance inspections Perform maintenance on units Ensure all repairs are completed and documented Understand and exercise relevant HSE work procedures and practices for the job Follow and obey all CWS and regulatory driving rules Ensure adherence to operational policies, procedures to achieve safety objectives Identify and raise hazard ID reports when unsafe practices or conditions are observed Participation in mentorship driving program Yard duties and shop work as required   KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES: Ability to operate process control equipment Ability to work independently when required Ability to follow, and enforce safe work procedures, codes, and regulations. A highly energetic, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with a high attention to detail Proven ability to adapt to a variety of environmental factors and extreme weather conditions while performing operational requirements Works and inspires others to work at high performance levels Comfortable in a time-sensitive, project driven, team based environment Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities with a high attention to detail Able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment Experience making immediate decisions, while maintaining composure, in high pressure situations with minimal supervision Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Ability to write comprehensive reports and maintain routine logs with a high attention to detail Must be mechanically inclined   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement 1 - 3 years’ experience operating Commercial vehicles Up to 50,000 Safe Driving Miles (Safe Driving Miles are defined as miles driven without and MVI or infraction as identified on the US Motor Vehicle Hiring and Employment Restrictions Policy) Oilfield driving experience an asset Must be willing to work flexible schedule   WHY CALFRAC?
