Purpose of the position: To ensure the availability and reliability of ENGIE Mexico's transport systems, manage the P&L of the entities, oversee personnel management through applicable policies, and represent ENGIE with clients, other transport companies, Local Distribution Companies (LDCs), and local and federal entities. The Transport Director serves as the link between operations and the board members in societies where ENGIE is the operative partner.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Oversee the operational performance of the NG Transport Systems and activities related to gas transportation, ensuring infrastructure availability and gas flows according to daily nominations through the Control Center and contract and strategy group. Maximize revenues in the systems where additional services are available using data from the Commercial Gas Application (CGA). Manage external stakeholders (CFE, clients, regulator, federal, state, and municipal authorities, communities, etc.) and internal stakeholders. Ensure the right of ways, maintaining class location to the minimum required for capacity availability according to contracts. Authorize budgets from legal firms collaborating with landowners and right of way supervisors when contractual requirements are at risk. Approve and follow up on maintenance plan in the SAP PM or the system provided by ENGIE. Standardize system usage to benchmarks transport systems and promote best practices in the area. Align the transport group with compliance of policies, norms, regulations and applicable law on the Mexican Labor, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental framework. Plan and organize the quarterly Board Meetings in conjunction with Finance, Legal, Regulatory, IT and Operations teams. Follow up on agreements made by the Board.
Occupational Profile and Experience:
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering or related
Masters in business administration (MBA)
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Flow mechanics, Compression Maintenance Management Hydrocarbon Transport Thermodynamics Project Management ERP´s and Finance Principles
