Responsibilities

Job Purpose

Transport System Analyst is responsible for implementing transport IT solutions for customers, and act as IT subject matter expert during business pursuit to understand customer’s IT requirements and develop the IT solutions proposals.

\n\nDrive full transport system implementations for country using DHL strategic IT solutions.\nDevelop TMS implementation solution proposal for new business pursuits.\nPromote innovation initiatives through IT implementations and continue to drive improvement for existing operations.\nApply IT Project Management methodology (DePICT) to IT project activities, ensuring projects are delivered within scope, budget and timelines.\nManage BluJay TMS projects, including:\n\nRequirements gathering\nEnd-to-end process design\nGap analysis\nPreparation of IT business requirements document, application design document, functional specifications\nSystem setup & configuration\nDevelop EDI interface specification and reports\nTesting strategy\nCutover plans\nTraining\nSolution deployment\nGo-live support\n\nProvide support for the existing solutions in terms of the following:\n\nProvide solution to address a request or an incident\nChange development specification\nChange system configuration\nRegression testing\nCoordinate and manage existing IT knowledge base, update work instructions\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent.\nGood understanding of transportation and/or warehouse operational process and strong analytical skills.\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in IT solution analysis, implementation and ongoing support, including at least 1 year of TMS implementation experience.\nExperience in BluJay or e2Open TMS implementations is preferred.\nExperienced in Jasper Reports, PL/SQL script development.\nExperience in implementation of route optimization IT tools will have added advantage.\nExperienced in business analytical tools such as PowerBI preferred.\nPossess commercial awareness and effective communication & interpersonal skills.\nCustomer-oriented, ability to influence and negotiate.\nSelf-driven and a self-starter.\n\n
