▶ About This Opportunity

The Fuels Transportation Analyst will routinely complete those tasks that will allow SEI Fuels to properly account for the volume run through the business. This includes tasks that must be done on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The primary trait needed for success will be an attention to detail on processes, and the ability to successfully perform the required duties and responsibilities.

Manage Daily Fuels Inventory Reports by carrier and geography for USA and Canada.Monitor daily outage report for USA and Canada and review the cause of outage.Collaborate closely with Fuels Accounting and various carriers to coordinate entry of missing BOLs on a timely mannerAnalyze and correct BOLs in FQ/FMS to ensure accurate processing.Verify carrier’s BOL against store delivery to ensure all deliveries are reconciled.Manage freight rate database to conduct analysis to verify rate accuracy.Utilize Freight Management tool, perform terminal to store optimization tasks to maximize cost benefits. Lead special projects with IT to develop tools that would provide visibility and functionality, resulting in increased efficiencies and financial opportunities (Power BI – Inventory Management Tool, Microsoft Apps – Outage Tool).Manage carrier performance and analyze penalties associated.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.Education: Bachelors 4 Year Degree preferred.Experience: Previous fuels or/and fuels accounting related experience preferred.Customer service oriented.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge of accounting concepts and practices.Process improvement capabilities and problem-solving skills.Strong analytical skills, to include variance detection and trend analysis.Decision-making skills.Strong sense of urgency and accountability.
