In the role of a Transportation Construction Inspector, we'll count on you to:Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelinesMonitor, record and inspect progress on construction projectsCoordinate field materials sampling and testing, including concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and performing in-place soil compaction testingReceive general supervision from the Senior Inspector who reviews work while in progressPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsTechnical school or Associate degreeRelevant Industry CertificationsAbility to interpret construction schedulesRequired QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent A minimum of 5 years experience Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) Strong written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team This position typically requires successfully passing drug-screening procedures prior to being hired; thereafter subject to random and cause drug and alcohol testing An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position IS $50-$55.00 hourly and depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
