The Transportation Coordinator role will ensure timely and optimal product flow within goPuff’s Distribution Center (DC) Network.  This is an exciting opportunity to apply your Supply Chain knowledge and experience to help shape and optimize goPuff’s rapidly-expanding DC Network, including but not limited to:    Inbound Transportation from Vendors to goPuff DC’s and Outbound Transportation from goPuff DC’s to Micro-fulfillment Centers (MFC’s).
ResponsibilitiesWork closely with stakeholders from Distribution Centers, Replenishment Planning, Field Operations, transportation carriers, 3PL warehouse, vendors and other supply chain stakeholders to ensure that Transportation Service and Cost Targets are achieved Serve as the primary point-of-contact for Inbound and Outbound Transportation Operations, and coordinate rapid issue resolution with key network stakeholdersUtilize the goPuff Transportation Management System (TMS) to build, tender and monitor transportation shipments from pick-up through to delivery Execute ad hoc shipments (i.e. promotions, donations, etc.) to support business needsReconcile freight invoices on an ad hoc business to ensure that freight charges are consist with contracted rates
Qualifications1-5 Years of Experience in the Supply Chain / Logistics Industry.  Basic understanding of Domestic Freight Transportation: Carrier Networks, Equipment, Systems & Industry  Proficiency with Google Sheets, MS Excel  Transportation Management System (TMS) experience and proficiency is preferredDemonstrated experience in problem-solving, root cause analysis and stakeholder collaboration Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills RequiredKey characteristics to be successful in the role include:Customer Focus: Possess an unwavering focus to delight customers, both internal and externalInitiative: Experience with Prioritization and Time Management in a fast-paced, growth environmentCollaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally, both internally and externally, to problem-solve and achieve common objectives   Grit: Willingness to work with urgency and take a ‘Can Do’ approach to ensure successful outcomes$19 - $26 an hourAt Gopuff, we know that life can be unpredictable.
