Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to manage the scheduling, planning, and coordination of all transportation needs for our residents. In this role, you will ensure safe, timely, and comfortable transport to medical appointments, social outings, and other essential services.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule transportation for residents to medical appointments, therapy sessions, social events, and other activities. Ensure timely arrival and departure for all scheduled transportation. Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to meet the needs of residents regarding their transportation requirements. Maintain and update transportation records, including schedules, vehicle maintenance, and incident reports. Oversee the safety and comfort of residents during transport. Supervise and support transportation staff, including drivers, to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards. Monitor and maintain transportation vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, and arrange for repairs as necessary. Provide excellent customer service to residents, their families, and healthcare providers. Ensure all transportation-related documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in transportation coordination, logistics, or related field (experience in healthcare or senior care is preferred). Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor. Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols for transporting elderly or vulnerable individuals. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
