We are hiring a Transportation Team Lead for our award winning, gated retirement community.  The Transportation Team Leader is responsible for coordinating the usage of motor vehicles in the community motor pool which includes fleet maintenance records, maintaining vehicle inspections and oil changes, repairs, safety equipment and all pre-trip and post-trip documentation. 

Compensation: Starting at $23 per hour, commensurate with experience

Prepare vehicles for use and ensure vehicles are available and ready when requiredLogs and tracks vehicle usageAssist with the transporting of residents and staff with or without wheelchairsHelp maintain the daily transportation schedule, enter billing into the work order systemAssist with daily supervisory functionsEnsure driver work schedules are prepared and monitors requests for changesAssist with minor repairs on vehicles as appropriate

What you will need:

High school diploma or GED required.Must be a minimum of 21 years of ageOne to three years’ experience in transportation services.Office experience is preferredA current and valid Commercial Driver’s License Class C (or higher) with Passenger endorsement is required.  (CDL –P licensure)A current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
