The Transportation Dispatch Assistant provides support to the Transportation Coordinators and Drivers. 

Accurately fulfill the plans developed by Transportation CoordinatorsProvide support to Drivers in order to deliver shipments to their destination in a timely mannerAssist Drivers with equipment breakdowns, spills and inquiries associated with the operationProcess phone calls from Drivers and Service Centers in a professional and timely mannerUnderstand dispatch management software to execute the planning of Driver assignmentsMaintain excellent communication with internal customersContinuously look for opportunities to improve processes Qualifications Background in transportation, logistics coordinating, dispatching or in LTL operationsExcellent planning capabilities in a fast paced environmentProfessional and courteous communicatorMust be able to work 2nd or 3rd shifts Benefits Stable and growing organizationCompetitive weekly payQuick advancementProfessional, positive and people-centered work environmentModern facilitiesClean, late model equipmentComprehensive benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, AD&D, 401(k), etc.Paid holidays (8); paid vacation and personal days
