**A caregiver in this position works days, 6:00am-2:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm.**
**A successful Transportation Dispatcher will execute the following:**
+ **Conduct friendly, courteous, compassionate and helpful communications with customers.**
+ **Dispatch requests in a timely manner and communicate status updates/delays to customers.**
+ **Receive and log requests through applicable software/tracking.**
+ **Be comfortable in a fast paced environment**
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Coordinate department project activities by distributing reports, facilitating analyses and reporting information.
+ Develop department resource databases to facilitate management of various project activities.
+ Coordinate department scheduling of individuals, resources and activities.
+ Collect, maintain and report information for the department such as patient information, budgets, caregiver PTO and schedule.
+ Function as a department liaison.
+ Assist with performance evaluations, counseling and onboarding of new caregivers.
+ Perform duties related to the preparation, implementation and analysis of special studies and projects.
+ Maintain office supplies and equipment.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ 3 years of experience coordinating and assisting with management functions and special projects.
+ Proficient with spreadsheets, word processing and database software.

**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
+ Ability to operate a computer and other office and laboratory equipment
+ Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
+ Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
**Personal Protective Equipment:**
+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $16.47
Maximum hourly: $23.61
