Job Title: Transportation Engineer / Civil Engineer Job Description: Join our dynamic team as a Transportation Engineer / Civil Engineer! Responsibilities: + Prepare detailed reports, studies, proposals, blogs, and journal articles. + Develop project scopes and fee estimates. + Manage project tasks, including scheduling, scope, roles, and budgets. + Ensure tasks are completed within budget and on schedule. + Contribute to business development and client relationship efforts. + Understand and meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers. + Perform and occasionally direct project design, including engineering calculations and computer design software. + Collect and analyze complex project data. + Prepare comprehensive project documents, including specifications and bid documents. + Conduct thorough drawing reviews to ensure clarity and accuracy. + Prepare quantity takeoffs and handle project documentation. + Conduct site observations and report on existing conditions. Essential Skills: + 3+ years of related design experience. + Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. + EIT or EI preferred; PE license in MO or KS is a plus. + 3+ years of transportation design experience. + Strong knowledge of roadways or highways. + Proficiency in MicroStation, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD. Additional Skills & Qualifications: + Strong technical design skills. + Experience in project management. + Ability to build and maintain client relationships. + Excellent communication skills. Work Environment: Our office operates Monday through Friday with flexible working hours.
