Primary Responsibilities
The right candidate will have completed their sophomore or junior year toward a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with an interest in a career as a transportation engineer. AutoCAD or MicroStation is a plus. Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work independently under the supervision of a senior engineer.
Primary duties may include revisions of CAD drawings from engineers’ mark ups, plotting drawings, and assembly of drawing sets for submittals, as well as quantity take off and cost estimation.Tasks may also involve traffic and accident analyses, field data collection, and technical report writing. This positionmay include assignments in highway, traffic, transit systems, and railroad engineering.
Preferred QualificationsPrefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0 GPADemonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry#LI-LA1
