Transportation Excellence Manager, Transportation Tactical Management (TTM)
Description The Transportation Excellence Manager is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive overview of the entire transportation network. This involves closely collaborating with stakeholders across all transportation domains to ensure that the actual cost-to-serve metrics remain aligned with the planned targets. This person plays a crucial role in driving continuous improvement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency across transportation network. Key job responsibilities Identifying and correcting any defects or inefficiencies in the transportation costs. This may involve analyzing data, implementing process improvements, and optimizing transportation routes and modes. Fostering strong connections with relevant stakeholders, both internal and external, to collectively work towards reducing losses within the transportation network. This could entail coordinating with logistics providers, carriers, stations and sort centers teams, and other cross-functional partners. Maintaining a holistic perspective on the transportation landscape and proactively identifying opportunities for cost savings, service enhancements, and overall network optimization. This requires a deep understanding of the various transportation modes, market dynamics, and industry best practices. Providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making related to the transportation function. This includes presenting data-driven analyses and proposing innovative solutions to enhance the company's transportation excellence. Collaborating closely with the finance, procurement, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of transportation-related data and processes, enabling a cohesive and well-synchronized supply chain. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree; - Experience with program or project management; - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams; - Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics; - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL; - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements. Preferred Qualifications - Experience driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership; - Experience driving process improvements; - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management and schedules.
