Transportation Fleet Manager

SWTO, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary and private fuel delivery fleet of 7-Eleven & SEI Fuels. 

We compliment 7-Eleven’s existing carrier portfolio with a fleet of 170 power units, operating primarily in the Southeast US.  Our 420 drivers will deliver ~1.7 billion gallons of gas, diesel and ethanol, mainly to retail convenience stores and commercial fueling centers.

The Fleet Manager manages and assists in the overall planning and direction of the Company owned transport operations and ensures compliance with all federal, state and local rules and regulations and Company policies and procedures

Manages, hires, trains, evaluates and motivates the Regional Transportation team, which includes immediate reports and their subordinatesAssists in the development of policies, programs and procedures for the fleet transportation systemManages and assists in the coordination of activities of transport personnel that are responsible for loading, transporting and offloading of productOversees and assists in the design, development and implementation of plans regarding fleet vehicle schedules licensing and maintenanceEnsures all employees are trained and in compliance with all transportation policies, procedures and programsDevelops departmental budget, establishes direction and sets priorities for spending based upon Company guidelines and strategies. Manages spending accordinglyKeeps abreast of federal, state and local laws and regulations related to transport of hazardous materials, Environmental Protection agency (EPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)Provides timely communication of critical events that will affect schedule and/or budgetImplements efficient handling and transportation of cargoWorks with supply partners in effective movement of supply to maximize in stock positionConducts performance appraisals and recommends salary considerations for subordinatesCompletes departmental reporting as neededCompletes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management
