Walsh is currently seeking an Equipment Intern for our Transportation Division at Fordyce Lake.

Responsibilities

The Intern position has more flexibility with part-time or full-time, but 12 weeks is preferred. Some duties and responsibilities include:

Work with Dealers OEM’s & Vendors with Repair Authorization process from open to closeWork with OEM’s to manage Product Improvement Program updates to equipmentAssist Equipment Managers or Regional Equipment Manager with requesting OEM Warranty and Post warranty claimsTransfer machines in and out of repair statusProvide weekly status updates of repairs and review with Quality Manager, Dir Equipment Operations, and Regional Equipment ManagerAssist with processing Repair Authorization eventsReview and approve Inter-regional transfers and Site Storage requestsReview equipment pictures and inspection forms for accuracy, damage, or services that may be needed prior to the equipment leaving the jobsiteProduce and distribute inspection list report to all ManagersReview and process new equipment check listsAssist with managing and distributing preventative maintenance reportsUpload & maintain all paperwork for preventative maintenance events and from project sitesPrint oil sample labels and ship bottles to lab for testingAssist with managing national vendor accounts and maintain relationships with vendorsAssist with any special projects that come up in the course of business Qualifications Seeking a bachelor’s degree is preferred The ability to work a 12-week work schedule is preferred Specific roles may require relocationPay Range: $23 - 26/Hr
