Manage Carrier Network: Oversee the day-to-day operations of small parcel and LTL carriers, including contract negotiations, pricing, and performance management. · Optimize Transportation Strategies: Analyze shipping data to develop and implement strategies that improve delivery speed, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. · Carrier Performance Monitoring: Track and report key performance metrics (KPI), such as on-time delivery rates, transit times, and customer feedback. Hold carriers accountable for service levels and take corrective actions as needed. · Freight Rate Negotiations: Negotiate competitive freight rates with carriers while maintaining service quality, ensuring cost-effective shipping options. · Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with warehousing, customer service, and inventory teams to ensure alignment on shipping strategies and fulfillment processes. · Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all transportation operations are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards and environmental laws. · Technology Utilization: Leverage transportation management systems (TMS) to enhance route planning, freight tracking, and reporting. · Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). · 3-5+ years of experience managing small parcel and LTL carriers in an e-commerce or retail environment. · Strong knowledge of transportation logistics, including contract negotiation, carrier performance management, and freight cost analysis. · Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools. · Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. · Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. · Knowledge of domestic shipping regulations and compliance standards. · Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
