In the role of Transportation Planner 2, we'll count on you to:Provide transportation planning services for transit, highway, state agencies, cities and countiesTake responsibility for corridor studies, forecast modeling, traffic analysis, transportation planning, and impact fee developmentAssimilate and manage dataCollect project-related data as needed, which may include research, interviews with government agencies and clients, map reviews, land use surveys, and socioeconomic analysisPrepare constraints mappingPrepare required documents such as categorical exclusions, environmental assessments, environmental impact studies and other technical reportsAssist in preparation for and participate in public information meetings and hearingsPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsAICPPreference Given to local candidatesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Planning or closely related field A minimum of 5 years experience with transportation planningMS Office, CAD, ArcInfo/ArcView An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
