Job Description

AECOM is currently looking to hire a temporary, part-time Transportation Planner to support our projects located in the Greenville, SC area. This position is expected to last approximately 9 months. 

Supports planning studies and reports for new and updated plans, programs and regulationsReviews or assists in the review of development proposals and site plans for conformance with codes, plans and regulationsPrepares and presents detailed reports on development proposals to government bodiesCollects a variety of statistical data and prepares reports and maps on topics, such as census information, land use, transportation tax base data and occupancy ratesAssists in evaluating re-zonings, ordinance amendments, site plans, special use permits, variances and other proposalsCoordinates community review of public and private development projectsProvides information to the public regarding development regulationsAssists in resolving citizen and customer issuesUnder direct supervision, conducts field evaluations and assessments

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationCompleted relevant coursework on planning related topics

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in related field Lean and Six SigmaPull Planning, last planner systemsCollaborative Planning
