Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. The Department of Transportation is actively seeking candidates for a Transportation Planner Analyst II position for the Rail Program within Multi-Modal Program Development, located in Carson City, NV. This position will require participation in the development of transportation studies, reports, and plans by conducting, monitoring and/or adjusting planning activities aimed at improving future transportation needs through the movement of people and rail. The incumbent should possess a foundational understanding of state or federal grant processes, project management and fiscal analysis.
