Job Description

Energetics is seeking a Transportation Program Analyst to work on a variety of activities in our Washington, DC and Columbia, MD offices, working with the U.S. Department of Energy, public and private vehicle fleets, State and local government energy offices, and other municipal offices. This is a great chance to grow your skills and knowledge while gaining experience in the energy consulting business.

The Transportation Program Analyst will be responsible for supporting programs in the areas of climate and energy resilience, energy infrastructure, and other energy fields our government and commercial sector clients. Everyday duties could include interfacing with clients, researching trends and technologies, leading project teams to develop reports, program plans or other documents, and engaging in meetings with stakeholders. Successful candidates will be willing to take on a range of assignments in a diversity of areas, from advanced vehicles, energy efficiency, and grid resilience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Serve as lead of analysis support activities for relevant government energy programs, including policy and program analysis; interact directly with clients; work closely with/lead teams working on various analysis and programmatic projectsCollecting and analyzing project and program informationDeveloping and reviewing reports, white papers, program plans, other documents, etc.Conducting research on policy, climate and technology trends

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in policy, social sciences, economics, science or engineering fields3+ years of relatable experienceSuperior practical knowledge of MS Office suiteExcellent communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, and written), with the ability to author papers, reports, program plans or other communications for technical or non-technical audiencesExcellent organization and time management skills

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in policy, social sciences, economics, science or engineering fieldsDemonstrated experience in consultingFamiliarity and experience with energy, energy resilience, climate and related fields

$64,000.00 - $85,000.00
