As a Transportation Project Manager, you will be responsible for the design of roadway, underground utilities, and various infrastructure improvements. You will conduct traffic and various engineering studies, ensuring the preparation of detailed engineering plans and specifications in accordance with IDOT and local standards. Additionally, you will coordinate with local, state, and federal permitting agencies to provide comprehensive civil engineering services for municipal, county, and state agencies.
Responsibilities
+ Design roadway, underground utilities, and various infrastructure improvements.
+ Conduct traffic and various engineering studies.
+ Prepare detailed engineering plans and specifications utilizing IDOT and/or local policies and standards.
+ Coordinate with local, state, and federal permitting agencies.
+ Provide comprehensive civil engineering services for municipal, county, and state agencies.
+ Manage a team of CAD staff working on your project.
Essential Skills
+ Civil engineering
+ Professional engineer
+ Transportation engineering
+ Experience permitting projects through IDOT, IEPA, IDNR, and local municipalities
+ Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Illinois or another state
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
+ Proficiency in Microstation, OpenRoads, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Transportation design experience preferred
+ Ability to manage a group of CAD staff
Work Environment
This position is 100% in office with working hours from 8am to 5pm. The role includes managing CAD staff working on your project. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
