Project Manager Expectations
· Supervises and leads smaller teams or subgroup of a larger team.
· Manages less-complex projects or multiple tasks on complex projects.
· Leads external communications.
· Responsible for team or project accounting, including invoicing, workload, scheduling, scope, roles, and budgets.
· Manages team to achieve KPI's
Description
Provide technical design expertise to the project team and ensure the overall quality of client deliverables.Perform technical design for assigned projects with a working knowledge of traffic engineering in civil engineering.Mentor and direct team members in:Project design (engineering calculations, computer design software, referencing engineering procedures and design manuals).Collecting and assembling complex project data.Preparing complex project documents (specifications and bid documents).Reviewing complex drawings to ensure clarity and thoroughness.Preparing quantity takeoffs.Managing external communications.Documenting projects.Conducting complex site observations.Understand and meet internal and external customers' needs and expectations; develop and improve client relationships.Manage preparation of reports, studies, proposals, blogs, journal articles, etc.Understand basic financial terms and concepts as they apply to projects.Account for individual project task involvement, including scheduling, scope, role, and budget.Track multiple task budgets and schedules.Lead or contribute to business development efforts.Develop and follow up on qualifying leads.Skills
