Under the United States (U.S.) Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) program, Team V2X will provide: global multi-disciplined engineering; facilities; sustainment and maintenance of non-standard (non-Program of Record) and Program of Record intelligence systems to include the integration of new intelligence technologies and capabilities; Portal management; hardware design and integration; network management; technology development and application; and supply chain / logistics support to INSCOM, U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), Army Intelligence, Joint Forces, Combatant Commands, and the Intelligence Community (IC). Team V2X will enable INSCOM’s mission of anticipating requirements and employing innovative techniques to equip and sustain Soldiers, Civilians, systems, and facilities. As a dedicated partner to INSCOM G4, Team V2X is committed to enhancing readiness as part of Combined, Joint, and IC interdependent teams supporting tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel, ground and aerial intelligence equipment, operation facilities, and infrastructure from multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations. This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X. #clearance Responsibilities Works with automated movements and transportation information systems as they pertain to transportation operations. Current systems include Integrated Development / Global Transportation Network (IGC), JOPES (Joint Operational Planning and Execution System), TC-AIMS II (Transportation Coordinator's Automated Information for Movement System II), and Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES). Applies technical knowledge of deployment, traffic management and shipping principles and policies in application of practical traffic and transportation operational requirements. Prepares appropriate documentation required for the mode of transportation asset being utilized. Uses local, Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR), and Army transportation policies and procedures to arrive at the appropriate transportation solution. Applies transportation concepts, principles, and methodology applicable for conducting traffic management operations. Provides technical advice and assistance in the execution of daily transportation requirements. Maintains transportation In-transit Visibility (ITV) for routine, high value, and Sensitive Materiel transportation movements. Prepares Military Shipping Labels (MSL), Radio Frequency (RF)/Automated Information Technology (AIT) and special areas such as Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) documentation. Utilizes knowledge and expertise of the Army transportation system to manage transportation requirements for personnel and cargo. Obtains desired information from appropriate sources, organizes data into usable format for analysis, coordinates and follows-up with data systems and other management information systems to ensure data collection is carried out. Must have basic knowledge of the principles of deployment, traffic management, and transportation requirements of the missions / operating programs served, in addition to technical developments in the transportation field. Qualifications Education / Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Business, or a related field from an accredited university / college with four (4) years of experience in military transportation (88N and 882A); OR Associate's degree in Transportation, Business, or a related field from an accredited university / college and military equivalent training (88N and 882A) with six (6) years of experience; OR Military equivalent training and eight (8) years of experience (88N and 882A). Security Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizen with Final Top-Secret Clearance based upon a TIER 5 Background Investigation, and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) IAW ICD 704. Some positions or assignments may require a Counterintelligence (CI) Scope Polygraph, especially those requiring access to TDN2. Experience / Skills: A comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of deployment, traffic management, & automation policies, principles, and practices in support of traffic management. Broad knowledge of transportation operations, practices, and policies as well as a thorough knowledge of transportation automated systems to satisfy user requirements. Must be able to interpret transportation security policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ability to prepare and coordinate system functional descriptions, data output requirements, and user documentation needs associated with the application or adaptation of ADP equipment and automation security to the organizations transportation data system supporting movement control, deployment, and material acquisition. Knowledge of Joint Operating Procedures and Execution System (JOPES), Global Command & Control System (GCCS), Integrated Development Environment / Global Transportation Network (IGC), Transportation Coordinator's Automated Information for Movement System II (TC-AIMS II), and Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES). Ensure the most efficient, economical, and effective practices of transportation and traffic management are used. Conduct transportation efforts of personnel movements, freight, unit movement, and individual movement of cargo or supplies.
