Foundations For Living is an 84 bed (14 males and 70 females) secure residential treatment facility for youth addressing mental health and substance abuse issues. Located on the edge of Mansfield, Ohio, in a 14 rolling, wooded acres rural setting, Foundations For Living has easy access to I-71. Foundations For Living is licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (ODMHAS) and CARF accredited. Foundations For Living offers individual, group, and family counseling to our residents. Our mission is to provide an environment of safety where youth feel empowered to heal the wounds of the past and build a foundation of hope for the future. The Transportation Specialist provides and ensures secure transportation services for residents as requested or assigned. Other duties include: Follows all laws while in a vehicle established by Law Enforcement-Follows all traffic laws while in a vehicle. Monitor patients’ physical and emotional well-being and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to medical staff. Transport residents to and from appointments. Provide passengers with assistance entering and exiting vehicles. Keeps all vehicles clean. Reports all safety issues with vehicles to supervisor. Qualifications Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED required and one (1) year experience working in a children’s services program or residential setting is preferred. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology or related field preferred.
