About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Transportation Division at White Sands Miissle Range, NM. Responsibilities Review and recommend approval, disapproval, or modification for all Non-tactical Vehicle lease requests. Identify and provide Non-tactical Vehicle Fleet related resource requirements to the Installation. Manage Government-owned or leased passenger cars, trucks, or special purpose vehicles. Track all pending and future vehicle budgeting, orders, authorizations, and programing. Analyze a variety of reports (mileage, repairs, modifications, maintenance, vehicle cost and funding projections, etc.) to identify areas that need further review to ensure maximum operational readiness. Interpret regulations and policies to advise installation serviced activities concerning general maintenance on a variety of equipment and materials used for mission accomplishment. Evaluate maintenance and repair vendor services to. ensure quality of services and take corrective action when necessary.
