Transportation Sr Manager

Make It Possible.** You will support end-to-end logistics (physical flows from plants to customers), including all warehouse, transport and co-packing operations, in terms of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policies compliance. You will provide team leadership and direction for the logistics organization. In this role, you will implement logistics strategy and effectively execute operations to ensure optimum logistics solutions while supporting various routes-to-market, and balancing service and cost. You will work collaboratively with internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution. **How you will contribute** You will: + Be accountable for warehouse, transportation, international logistics (import/export) and co-packing operations + Ensure the implementation of the business plan by delivering a consistent service level, adapting the supply chain to the demanding and changing customer environment and ensuring sufficient operational capacity to deliver business needs + Be accountable for delivering logistics operational cost budget, ensuring that best-in-class controls and governance are in place + Foster, initiate and lead continuous improvement programs that reduce cost and our carbon footprint and improve the service performance of the operation + Ensure successful project implementation + Select, manage and develop long-term relationships with third-party service providers + Ensure adherence to health and safety, quality, food defense and legal requirements and policies + Establish a business continuity plan for logistics operations. + Support best-practices sharing and adoption **What you will bring** A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: + Solid background in logistics with experience leading operations in an FMCG/CPG environment + Team leadership experience, with proven ability to build effective teams and develop people + Drive for results with proactive, dynamic and action orientated approach, identifying areas where business change is required and excellence in project management + Strong collaboration skills with strong business and financial acumen and the ability to forge senior level strategic partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders + Strategic thinking plus excellent presentation, communication, influencing and motivational skills + Strong negotiating skills with ability to negotiate in tough situations with both internal and external groups Sr Manager de Transportacion es responsible de liderar el equipo de Transporte (inbound, Outbound & Control Tower – Tendering, Track & Trace y control de incidencias), definir e implemenar la mejor estrategia de transporte, con balance en transporte Dedicado y on demand. Es responsable del manejo de un presupuesto superior a +60 M USD anuales, contando con cerca de 72 diferentes líneas transportistas y buscando desarrollar proyectos de mejora de costo, para offsetear inflación +3% cada año. Lidera la estrategia de Transporte para el negocio de MSM, contando con categorías de Transporte refrigerados (2 a 7 grados C - Quesos), Temperatura controlada (16 a 21 grados centígrados – Chocoalates ) y seca (Galletas, Dulces, gums, PBs). Principales actividades: + Generar/Mantener la estrategia de corto, mediano y Largo plazo de Transporte. + Marcar el lineamiento sobre la visión de Largo Plazo con el entendimiento Macro económico, tendencias políticas (Ex:Manejo de Fulles, Horas máximas de trabajo por Transportista, etc) y Sustentabilidad tanto local como de nuestros target de compañía. + Controlar el costo y generar las acciones de mitigación para offsetear la inflación + 3%. + Liderar el equipo base y desarrollarlo para convertirse en un equipo de alto rendimiento. + Liderar la transformación de dos Compañías y modelos en uno solo. (dos torres de control) + Pensamiento disruptivo para maximizar la utilización de nuestros assets y minimizar el costo, buscando al máximo ser variable vs fijo. + Conocimiento del dimensionamiento de almacenes. + Mantener monitoreado los KPIs de Operación como OTA, OTD, VFR, Rejections Experiencias + 8 años en Transporte. + Experiencia en operaciones con transporte Dedicado y/o On demand + Finance Accument, entendimiento de las estructuras de costo. + Desarrollo de equipos de trabajo. + Mentalidad de Mejora continua constante. + Desarrollo e Implementación de proyectos de alta envergadura, como Transportation Management System con operación intentana, Propuestas de CAPEX, Modelos de sustentabilidad. + Implementación de herramientas soporte como YMS, TMS. + Ingles avanzado **Business Unit Summary** **Mondelez México has been in the country since 1927 and currently employs 6,000 wonderful people.
