KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage daily transportation operations at designated locationManage, recruit, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectivenessEstablish and maintain collaborative relationships with warehouse leads and carriers to efficiently meet customer needsAssess client matters and provide recommendations to solve issues regarding performance, billing, or delivery problemsSupport the development of business policies, daily shipping schedules, and carrier service reviewsGather and analyze relevant data and information in preparation for reportsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
High School diploma or GED2 years’ transportation or dispatch coordination environment experience or relevant certificationKnowledge of shipping and transportation operations and familiarity with import and export processesProficient computer skills including Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customersDemonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguitySalary Range: $53200 - $66500 - $89775
