Transportation Supervisor

Weyerhaeuser's Washington Trucking team has an opening for a Transportation Supervisor in Longview, WA. As a Transportation Supervisor, you will support the Lower Columbia Region (Longview, NWOR, Cathlamet) and the functions associated with Washington trucking operations, dispatch, maintenance, and drivers. Additionally, you will provide oversight of contract log truck companies and support the management ofthe hourly Union employees. This is a full-time, exempt position, reporting to the Washington Trucking Manager with salary level dependent on skills and experience.

Key Functions

Monitor safety, environmental impacts and trucking costs for contractors and company employeesLead safety meetings, perform pre-work safety inspections and needed follow-up, and actively participate in unit safety/health programsDemonstrate, role model, coordinate training on company safety policies and safe work practicesEnsure compliance with applicable regulations and standards -- Weyerhaeuser, federal, state, and localApply leadership skills in managing company crews daily, including evaluating and holding individuals accountable to job performance expectationsAdhere to labor relations principles, working with employees and union leadership to proactively resolve issues and grievances related to collective bargaining agreementsCoordinate with other forest management operations within the organizationFill in for other members of the trucking leadership team during times of their absence

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $86,742-$130,250 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
