What You'll Do Delegate and supervise multiple employees and contractors to accomplish business needs as well as hands-on involvement when the need arises Lead all department personnel in a professional manner toward achieving company performance goals with emphasis on safety, quality, and meeting all company standards Develop and lead a Safety Culture that is consistent with CMC standards Collaborate with Plant Manager to ensure accomplishment of plant and regional goals Oversee DOT logs and keep up with asset maintenance while ensuring that proper equipment is available Manage costs and obtain management approval for higher cost items Establish strategies to efficiently and cost effectively maintain or increase production in conjunction with management and division priorities Regularly communicate, interact and coordinate with internal and external customers Delivery scheduling and communicating with drivers while maintaining excellent customer service Navigate challenging shipping issues that regularly occur What You'll Need Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience preferred Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with excellent strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills Prior DOT and dispatching experience preferred DOT Manual compliance and regulations knowledge SAP system experience preferred Strong computer skills required (good knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Exceptional customer service skills required Exceptional leadership and team building skills Your Education High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree preferred
