Under the direction of the Assistant Manager, Transportation, the Supervisor, Transportation is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Transportation Department, delegating duties, and communicating service issues, safety concerns, training needs, and guest retention efforts. The Supervisor, Transportation coordinates with supporting departments to maintain Department operations and service expectations, while championing the goals and priorities of the Tribe in a manner that reflects and upholds the Tribal Community’s vision, mission and values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provides strategic execution of established policies and procedures to facilitate the successful daily operation of the Transportation Department while maintaining regulatory compliance to meet defined standards and expectations. Completes operations by developing schedules, assigning, monitoring work, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards, resolving operations problems, and implementing new procedures.2. Maintains department safety standards, expectations, and immediately addresses unsafe practices and situations to leadership. Foster open communication, led by example by demonstrating the values and professional behaviors we expect from our Team Members.3. Promote brand loyalty through exceptional customer service, utilizing Yaamava’ Resort & Casino brand standards.4. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the enterprise’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum one (1) year hotel or casino management or supervisory experience or training in direct supervision required.
Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point essential.
Must have demonstrated the ability to exercise the utmost discretion with confidential information including but not limited to internal/external guest personal information.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

☒ Authorized Driver: Role requires operation or driving of Tribe-owned vehicles or driving patron vehicles. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the insurance carrier is required.
☐ Driving Responsibilities: Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.
☐ No Driving Responsibilities: Role does not require a driver’s license or insurance.
Must have or obtain a California Commercial Driver’s License, Class A, B, or C with a passenger endorsement with a valid DMV Medical Certificate.
