Job Summary
JEO’s Transportation Department provides expertise and services in street, highway, trail, and bridge design. The Transportation Team Leader is supported by a department of professionals and is responsible for project execution and ensuring those projects are completed on schedule. This position will take the lead on ensuring team members are successfully producing projects that meet or exceed client expectations while meeting JEO’s financial goals.
Responsibilities and Duties
Serve as Project Manager for City of Omaha, Douglas County, Sarpy County, and other metro communities.Oversee and coordinate work efforts of the team to ensure accuracy, quality, and design to satisfy client expectations/requirements.Mentor and train staff and ensure team members have sufficient or appropriate resources needed to accomplish goals/projects.Have successful experience overseeing multiple clients and projects at once.Prepare project proposals, scopes of services, cost estimates, and contract documents for a diverse portfolio of project types.Have experience with transportation design and construction budgets, scheduling, bidding, contracting processes.Successfully develop and nurture strong relationships with clients and peers.Represent JEO at professional organization meetings and/or other industry meetings.Collaborate with other Team Leaders regarding meeting company goals and visions, client development, and brand recognition.Required Qualifications
