To strengthen our Patient Supply Quality Control department, based in our hub in Braine, Belgium, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Transversal Analytical Lifecycle Expert.

 

About the Role

This role is crucial in driving operational analytical activity management for clinical phase III or commercial products, ensuring adherence to CMC (Chemical, Manufacturing & Control) activities. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to provide analytical expertise and transversal operational support, to ensure coordination of activities related to analytical methods, specifications and materials used for testing UCB products.

 

You Will Work With

The Transversal Analytical Lifecycle Expert will collaborate with various departments, including:

Industrial Analytical Program teamAnalytical Development Science teamExternal ManufacturingManufacturing Sciences and technology

 

What You Will Do

Provide analytical support to process in alignment with control strategy and manufacturing description.Coordinate with the Industrial Lead Analytical team on process-related analytical projects.Manage analytical transfer coordination with MSAT for process-related methods in product transfers.Offer transversal analytical expertise and day-to-day support on methods and specifications.Support complex analytical investigations for release or stability testing.Provide support and expertise for OOS/OOE investigations.Resolve analytical risks and provide second-line troubleshooting.Coordinate critical laboratory supply issues and maintain operational excellence.Ensure transversal coordination and oversight on analytical projects related to cGMP requirements.Coordinate cross-laboratory studies and investigative testing related to analytical packages.

 

Interested? For this position, you’ll need the following education, experience, and skills:

Master’s degree in Chemistry or any relevant field.Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical analysis (QC, analytical development, or QA supporting QC).Experience with monoclonal antibodies is preferred.Proven project leadership skills, including planning, monitoring, issue resolution, decision making, and reporting.Strong understanding of all analytical disciplines related to CMC for late-stage development and commercial products.Experience in GMP is a must.Fluent in English (mandatory) and French (preferred).Key technical background: chromatography (HPLC/UPLC), capillary electrophoresis, detection techniques (UV/Vis, MS), ELISA, USP, EP, and JP tests. Large molecule experience is preferred.
