We are looking for a Learning Specialist who is innovative, collaborative, and passionate about learning to join our Growth Enablement team based in our headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
About the role
You will play a central role in advancing our Skills Catalogue, developing assessments, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. As a Learning Specialist, you’ll identify new learning topics, manage relationships with key stakeholders, and lead impactful projects that enhance employee engagement and skill development.
Who you’ll work with
You’ll collaborate closely with Growth Enablement team members, the extended Learning and Talent community, Subject Matter Experts, and our Global Learning Operations team. Together, you’ll drive initiatives to build a skill-based organization and integrate important themes like Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) and Wellbeing, among others, into the Learning Portfolio.
What you’ll do
Enhance the Skills Catalogue by identifying and integrating new learning topics.Develop and manage assessments that promote deep reflection and development.Build strong relationships with Subject Matter Experts and embark vendors to UCB Culture to have more impactful learning interventions.Lead projects to drive engagement in learning initiatives and foster a learning culture.Monitor and report on program metrics, analyze data, and recommend improvements.Collaborate on communication strategies to increase awareness and engagement in learning programs.Reposition training programs from a skill perspective and establish mechanisms for learners to assess their skill proficiency before and after learning interventions.

3-8 years of experience in learning and development activities.Experience in setting up new processes and launching services from scratch.Experience working with vendors, including managing contracts and relationships.Strong collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders to achieve learning goals.Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas effectively.Process-driven approach with the ability to follow structured methodologies.Self-motivated and passionate about building a culture of continuous learning.
