ChristianaCare is recruiting a trauma acute care surgeon to join a collegial group of 13 Surgical Critical Care and fellowship trained Acute Care Surgeons at our Level 1 Trauma Center in Newark, Delaware. Qualified applicants will be Board-certified in general surgery and Board- eligible or certified for added qualifications in Surgical Critical Care.
Applicants will be expected to participate in trauma call and rotational coverage of the trauma service, emergency general surgery, and our 22-bed surgical intensive care unit. Ideal candidates will take an active interest and participation in the education of medical students, residents, and surgical critical care fellows. Interest in surgical research is a desired qualification.
ChristianaCare Hospital in Newark, Delaware, is part of the ChristianaCare Health System, a Magnet® non-profit health care organization.
