We are seeking a highly motivated Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator to monitor and improve the quality of trauma patient care. You will be responsible for data collection, analysis, and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting continuous quality improvement.
Responsibilities:
Maintain an accurate trauma database using chart abstraction and Digital Innovations Collector.Monitor trauma quality indicators and develop new CQI indicators.Design and report performance improvement data to relevant stakeholders.Ensure compliance with ACS, Joint Commission, and other regulatory standards.Knowledge of:

Minimum:
Current CA RN licensureBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSNEssential Skills and Knowledge:
Regulatory and Accreditation Knowledge: Familiarity with the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and guidelines.Trauma Center Requirements (ACS): Comprehensive understanding of the American College of Surgeons' requirements for Trauma Center verification.Local Trauma Requirements: Knowledge of specific trauma requirements and protocols for Sacramento County.Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of state and federal regulations related to quality assessment and improvement in trauma programs.Ability to manage, analyze, and interpret data effectivelyKnowledge and application of CQI principles and injury severity scoring systems.Advanced Computer Skills.Preferred:
Experience in trauma nursing, trauma registry database and trauma systems.Recent experience in a designated trauma center.TNCC, CCRN, CNOR or CENMSN
