**Responsibilities**
The Trauma Nurse Coordinator is a Registered Nurse who reports directly to the Trauma Program Manager and is under the Trauma Medical Director for the Department of Surgery. They will develop collaborative relationships with Hospitals Medical staff Administrators Directors of the Multidisciplinary Departments and Nursing to facilitate cooperation and support for the trauma program. The Trauma Nurse Coordinator is a Management/Leadership position assisting the Trauma Program Manager in determining personnel workflow and standards for quality and quantity of work material equipment and facilities needed to accomplish program goals. Supervise and manage the trauma office staff emergency and ICU trauma nursing care data collection and data entry into the TEMIS EMS data base maintaining a trauma registry and comply with contract requirements. The TNC is also responsible for analysis trends evaluation research and performance monitored for improvements.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications for the Trauma Performance Improvement RN role:**
+ Minimum 3 years experience as an Emergency Room Nurse
+ The last 2 years of experience must be in a Verified Trauma Center.
+ Current California RN (Registered Nurse) license.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire date.
+ Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within 30 days of hire date.
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire date.
+ Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) within 30 days of hire date.
+ Associate’s Degree - Nursing
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
**Pay Range**
$46.89 - $68.77 /hour
