Travel contract paying $2,650 weekly gross in Hermiston, OR Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. Responsibilities: Requirements: + Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices. + Full command of the English language, both verbal and written. + Current Health Certificate (per facility contract or state regulation). + Current Covid Card + One year prior professional nursing experience preferred. + Current BLS card. Essential Job Details Modality & Specialty Med Surg (day) Location is a small rural, critical-access hospital in Eastern Oregon. Trauma Level: level 3 Will work on the day shift with one or two other nurses and a full-time Hospitalist physician. RN will care for both adult and pediatric patients. New, clean, modern facility in rural northeast Oregon. Specific Skills/Qualifications Needed Minimum of 2 years experience on med surg unit as an RN. EPIC experience is strongly preferred. BLS and ALCS through AHA. PALS- can be obtained within 90 days of start. Nurse must have a class scheduled by the time their assignment starts. Candidates should have the ability to come in and work with minimal direction or supervision. Active Oregon license is preferred but facility will request 90-day exception for nurse. They must apply for license upon offer and acceptance and will be reimbursed when perm license is issued.
