Travel Aluminum Welder
**Job Title: Travel Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Travel Welder with a strong experience in aluminum welding. The ideal candidate must be able to describe their experience in detail and pass a weld test. This role involves welding and fabricating according to specific instructions both in and out of position. MIG experience is required, and pulse arc experience is preferred. The ability to weld in multiple positions is also preferred. **Responsibilities** + Perform welding and fabricating tasks on aluminum materials. + Follow specific instructions for welding projects. + Pass weld tests to ensure quality and safety standards. + Utilize MIG welding and, preferably, pulse arc welding techniques. + Read and interpret blueprints for accurate fabrication. + Work in various welding positions as required. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. **Essential Skills** + Experience with aluminum welding. + Proficient in MIG welding. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Capability to pass fracture-tested weld tests. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Pulse arc welding experience is preferred. + Ability to weld in multiple positions. + Experience with fabricating and blueprint reading. **Why Work Here?** This position offers long-term employment with guaranteed work for the next 10 years as part of the Maneuver Support Vessel (MSV) project.
