Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Travel Welder with significant experience in aluminum welding. The ideal candidate must be able to describe their experience and pass a weld test. The role involves welding and fabricating to specific instructions, both in and out of position. MIG experience is required, and pulse arc experience is preferred. Welding in multiple positions is also preferred.
ResponsibilitiesWeld and fabricate aluminum components according to specific instructions.Perform welding tasks in various positions.Read and interpret blueprints for welding and fabrication tasks.Pass fracture-tested weld tests.Utilize MIG welding techniques and, preferably, pulse arc techniques.Essential SkillsExperience in aluminum welding.Proficiency in MIG welding.Ability to weld in multiple positions.Blueprint reading skills.Capability to pass fracture-tested weld tests.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with pulse arc welding.Familiarity with fitting, grinding, and tape measure usage.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working in a large-scale manufacturing environment that produces structural steel and aluminum parts for government projects, including bridges, dams, nuclear sites, boats, and barges. The shop is clean and primarily focused on aluminum work. Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots and safety glasses. The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00
