Our client is seeking a Admin/Travel Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have customer service, computer and organizational skills which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Travel Assistant-Business Office**
**Location: McAllen, TX**
**Pay Range: $17.00 hourly**
**What’s the Job?**
+ Ensure employee travel and expense report reimbursements align with college policies and procedures. Review requests for travel reimbursement, prepayments for travel-related expenses, and emergency requests
+ Responsible for staying up to date with GSA per diem rates and state mileage rate changes
+ Assist with updating Travel forms, guidelines and training material on expense reporting policies, standards and tutorials and system improvements
+ Responsible for review and researh of stale dated Travel checks and clearing travel related pending refunds
+ Other duties as assigned
**What’s Needed?**
+ Associate's Degree, or a minimum of 60 earned college hours
+ At least one (1) year of experience in processing travel reimbursemens and/or expenses, preferred.
+ Experience in a higher education institution, preferred.
+ Pass compliance items
