Travel Cardiovascular Short Stay RN – Newburgh, Indiana – Nights
$3,534 wk./48 hrs. OR $2,758 wk./36 hrs.
CANDIDATES MUST BE EXPERIENCED IN PRE/POST CATH LAB/EP PROCEDURES, PACU RECOVERY, CARDIAC SURGERY ADMISSIONS
40 MILE RADIUS RULE – NO LOCAL CANDIDATES
Contract Length: 13 weeks

The actual pay offered to a successful candidate will take into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and other variable factors.
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 48 available upon request or 36
Primary Location: Deaconess Gateway Hospital – Newburgh, IN
Shift: 12hr Nights 6:30pm-7am CST
Floating:
Could float to other cardiac units and may float between Midtown, Gateway, and Heart Hospital, but cross campus mid-shifting floating is rare. (The Heart Hospital is located within Gateway)
Cross-Campus floating is very rare. If they are needed at another campus, they will be notified prior to the start of their shift. If they need to float mid-shift, they will be given a two-hour notice.On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A
Weekends/Holidays: every other weekend/holiday
Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: IN Single State RN License, AHA BLS & ACLS
Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience in specialty
NO NEW TRAVELERS – 1 completed travel assignment required
Charting Experience Required: EPIC/CUPID
Required Skillset: Start IV’s, radial artery sheath removal, TR bands, arterial line management, manage/titrate cardiac drips, telemetry interpretation, 12-lead EKG.
Patient Population: Admissions/Cardiac procedure recovery, Pre/Post Cath Lab/EP Lab procedures, PACU recovery, cardiac surgery admissions, TAVR/LAAO recoveries, antiarrhythmics, Cardiac observation patients, bedside experience
Unit Information: 33 beds. Pre/Post procedure Cath Lab, Surgery admissions, Observation patients
3:1 patient ratio (Day Shift)
4-5:1 patient ratio (Night Shift)
Uniform info: red scrub top, black scrub bottoms
Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required — Subject to change
GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
Minimum Requirements:
